Delighting in Song and Tale is a 12-week multifaceted study of Tales and a corresponding Folk Song.
Each unit takes a deep dive into a specific tale or type of tale, exploring its history and significance.
Each week, you're provided with a Tale to read, vocabulary words, discussion questions, and mapping exercises. Each week also provides an optional study of literary elements as displayed in the tale, and a Cultural Connection for exploring the people groups from whom the tale originates.
In addition to the study of the Tale, the units follow the Delightfully Feasting Folk Song Schedule, and provide discussion, narration prompts, variations, and the history of a folk song for a thorough study.
These units can be used in a variety of ways, and provide elements of each component for multiple age groups to use according to their abilities and needs.
